My name is Graham Shawcross.

I am an architect with many years of experience in Housing R+D, Computer Aided Design Programming and latterly the design of secondary and further education establishments.

I have recently started a PhD in Architecture at Edinburgh University and am interested in formal order, rhythm and pattern in architectural design.

    Hi,

    I designed a new aperiodic tiling that you might be interested in. It consists of 2 tiles and one of them is a parallelogram that can be of any angle. So this is a set of infinite 2-tile aperiodic tilings. Another way to look at it is as a tiling that is not static but dynamic. I can send you the paper if you are interested.
